SOLO GROUP CO., LTD. ("we", "us") operates USMLE BANK. This policy covers the personal information we collect on this website (usmle-bank.com) and how we handle it.

1. Information we collect

• Email address — the one you enter in the form to hear when USMLE BANK opens.
• A record of the sign-up — when you signed up, the language of the page you used, which wording of the consent line it showed, and the country you connected from (estimated from your IP address; the address itself is not kept with the record).
• Usage data — technical information your browser sends automatically when you visit the site, such as IP address and browser type.

2. How we use it

• To email you when USMLE BANK opens, and until then with updates such as invitations to test it — at most once a month.
• To prevent duplicate sign-ups and sign-ups by bots.
• To answer your questions.
• To keep the site secure and working properly.

3. Sharing and service providers

We do not sell personal information. We entrust it only to the provider the site needs in order to run:

• Cloudflare — to serve the site and store sign-ups. Cloudflare also runs the form's bot check (Cloudflare Turnstile), which sends information about your browser to Cloudflare to make that check. Cloudflare is a US company, and the information may be processed on servers outside Japan.

If we use an outside service to send the emails, we will give it only what sending needs (your email address and language) and name it on this page. Except where the law requires it, we do not give personal information to anyone else.

4. How long we keep it

We keep your email address and the sign-up record for as long as we have news to send you. If you unsubscribe, we keep the address with the date you did so, as the record that stops us writing to you again. To have the record deleted altogether, ask us as described in section 5.

5. Your rights and unsubscribing

You may ask us to show, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, and to stop sending you email. Every email we send will say how to unsubscribe. To make a request, write to info@solo-language.com. We will respond within a reasonable period, in accordance with applicable law.

6. Cookies

This site does not use cookies for advertising or for tracking what you read.

7. Changes to this policy

We may change this policy. The current version is always on this page, with the date it was last updated.
